Wondering what the heck a health coach is?!?

Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is a guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. Anyone can follow a diet for a couple months, but will it last? DIETS DON’T WORK for the long term. I’m here to help you make lasting changes that will improve all areas of your life. You can eat all the organic kale in the world, but if you’re in a job you hate or a bad relationship, you’re not going to be healthy or feel good. It’s about WAY more than what’s on your plate.

As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and we’ll navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice together to explore what truly works for YOU.

Together we will:

  • Create a plan to accomplish your personal goals in a way that is empowering, exciting & sustainable
  • Help you feel fabulous and comfortable in your body
  • Learn how to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your day
  • Increase your energy levels
  • Understand and reduce cravings
  • Learn what chemicals and toxins are hiding in your food
  • Improve your personal relationships
  • Develop strategies to incorporate physical activity into your routine
  • Learn how food affects mood, longevity & beauty
  • Discover confidence to create the life you want

  • Two 50-minute sessions per month (Skype/Facetime/Phone)
  • Email support between sessions
  • Simple, healthy recipes that are easy to prepare
  • Handouts specific to your needs and goals

The first step is you have to really WANT to change and improve your health. My program is not a quick fix. Those don’t work long term. Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationship as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. I work with clients like you to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

To decide if health coaching is right for you, I invite you to schedule a FREE initial consultation with me. 
During this session, we will discuss your health history, concerns and lifestyle to determine how I can best support you in achieving your goals. There is ZERO obligation, so I encourage you to take the time for yourself to have this conversation! It’s also a great way for you to get a feel for how I work with clients and to see if we’re a good match 🙂

✨A friend once told me, “nothing changes if you’re comfortable.” That applies to so much in life. Especially now. 

I’ve done the marches, I’ve called Senators, I’ve donated to ALL the groups, I’ve voted, I’ve worn orange, I started training to teach secure firearm storage & nothing is working fast enough to end the insanity that is the gun violence epidemic in our country. 

And it’s only getting worse. 

So now I sit.

Tomorrow I will sit peacefully at the Capitol in Denver with @here4thekids & ask @govofco to sign an executive order to ban guns and buy them back.

Sounds crazy right? That’s what I thought. 

Until I realized, we’re already in the crazy.

Seems radical right? That’s what I thought.

Until I realized what’s actually radical is continuing to let our kids, teachers & others be slaughtered in schools, malls, beaches, places of worship, movie theaters, clubs, grocery stores, parades, the work place, neighborhood streets and more. 

Banning gun seems extreme right? That’s what I thought.

Until I realized selling bulletproof backpacks to U.S. children was the TRUE extreme.

This is now part of our American culture & it’s not going away until we look at things differently. 

Try something DIFFERENT. Think outside the box. 

We haven’t lost our minds, we’ve lost our imagination (said by @sairo).

Thanks to a group of BIPOC women who organized @here4thekidsaction after the Covenant school shooting, they are looking back at American history & giving us white women the blueprint of how to make change. 

It’s the people SHOWING UP, peacefully, time and time again. 

Why white women? I thought it was weird at first & a turn off if I’m being honest. 

Well, white women are statistically the least likely to be brutalized by police AND we have more power than we think…so let’s use it!!!

I for one am DONE feeling hopeless & helpless. I’m taking my power back as a privileged white woman & demanding change. Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it?  1000 percent. 

So tomorrow I will sit. I will sit & mourn the lives lost. I will sit in my discomfort not knowing what will happen. But nothing changes if you’re comfortable. #hereforthekids #gunviolence
