This is one of my favorite things to make ahead of time for a quick, nutritious & energizing breakfast. I make it at night and by morning, it's ready and they are no dishes to clean up!

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 cups water (sub for almond milk, coconut milk, etc.)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use this for extra protein and flavor)
- ½ cup berries
- optional:
- sweetener (honey, maple syrup, stevia)
- flax seeds
- sunflower seeds
- other fruit
Instructions
- Place 2 tbsp of chia seeds in a jar or food container with 2 cups of water or milk of your choice.
- Let set overnight.
- Now it's time to add in your favorite ingredients!
- I add in a scoop of protein powder and chopped frozen strawberries.
- Then, I top it with flax seeds and sunflower seeds.
- If you want this warm, heat it up in the morning in a pot on the stove.
Notes
Get creative with this and make it your own! I love switching it up by adding different fruits and spices, but this is my basic recipe! 🙂
If you don't have or want to use protein powder, just use ½ cup-1 cup of water or milk.
